Description
The original versions of the Skid Steer were developed in the late 1950s. This versatile piece of equipment can be found on most construction sites and is a very handy machine when working in tight spaces. Modern Loaders are capable of zero-radius turning with the wheels on each side of the loader turning in opposite directions at the same time. In less confined spaces, the wheels on one side can turn independently of the opposite side wheels. This causes the slower turning wheels to skid to varying degrees, giving the Loader the name. Skid Steer.
Our kit is relatively easy to build and will provide years of fun when completed. It is a handsome operating replica left in natural wood color, or for added realism, you may choose to paint it. Popular colors are white, red, black and yellow.
